How it is worked out
Your date, your postcode and your numbers. A wedding in Kent and a school fair round the corner are not the same job, so they are not the same price.
How fast you hear back
Within one working day, with a real number for your actual day. Nothing is held and nothing is owed until you say yes.
Travel
Quoted in from the start rather than added at the end, which is why the form asks for a postcode as its third question. We go all over London and well past it.
We turn up to all of it
Whatever the size of it, the same ice cream comes out of the same hatch. Two hours is the shortest booking we take; there is no upper end worth printing.
Weddings
Drinks reception, or the late slot when the dancing starts.
Birthdays
Gardens and parks. Kids, and the adults who queue twice.
School fairs
Fast service, and a queue that keeps moving all afternoon.

Ask us something else- How far do you travel?
- All over London, and a good way beyond it. If you are further out than that it is still worth asking, because the answer is usually yes.
- What does it cost?
- It depends on the date, the distance and how many people, which is why the form asks all three rather than quoting off a rate card. Tell us and you will have a real price within one working day.
- Do you need power?
- It depends on where the van is standing and what you want served, so we go through power, access and parking with you when we talk. Nobody has ever been caught out by it on the day.
- Can you come indoors?
- Sometimes, and it depends entirely on the room. Tell us about the space in the form and we will tell you straight away whether it works.
- How long do you stay?
- Two hours is the shortest booking we take, and most events run two to three. Longer is priced by the hour and agreed when you book.
- Can we have our own flavour?
- Yes. Everything is made in-house, which is the whole reason this is possible. It needs proper notice though, so ask as early as you can rather than the week before.
